Learn Why Skin Changes With Age

Did you that that your skin changes with age?  Yes it does.  As you get older you will notice signs of aging begin to show especially on your face.  These changes will tell how the environment and you treat your skin.  Your genes also play an important role in how you look as you age.  Most changes that take place are an inevitable part of the aging process and if you understand what takes places within your body as you age will help you determine what you need to do to counteract these changes and help your skin remain smooth and young even as you age.

The environment is one of the main causes of changes in your skin.   Being exposed to the UV rays of the sun, heat or extreme cold weather these will all affect your skin in a negative way.  Research has shown that sun damaged skin age much faster that skin that is not exposed to extreme sunlight.

Another reason why skin changes with age is the loss of ability to produce adequate amounts of collagen and elastin naturally in your body.  Collagen and elastin are two vital skin proteins that help keep the skin firm and elastic.  However, sadly as you age your body produces much less of these two proteins than what is needed.  This leads to fine lines and wrinkles forming on the skin.

Protecting your skin from harsh environmental conditions and extreme sunlight, eating lots of fruits, vegetables and nuts, taking your daily supply of Omega3 fish oil supplement, drinking sufficient water daily and getting the recommended eight hours of sleep each night will all help in preventing premature skin aging.

Most of us tend to turn to medical procedures to help reverse the effects of aging.  Even though this method can be successful the procedure can be risky, expensive and requires time to recover.  This is not affordable to most of us so we tend to search for a more natural and easier way to repair and rejuvenate skin that is aging.

Over the years there has been a ton of anti aging products on the market.  Most of which have proven not to work.  One reason why they do not work is they do not contain the most important ingredients that will help your skin produce its own collagen and elastin.  Creams containing collagen as an ingredient will not help to slow down the effects of aging.  Collagen applied topically is not effective because its molecules are too large they cannot be absorbed into the skin.

What you need is an anti aging cream that contains a specific ingredient known as Xtend-TK.  This ingredient is specifically researched and has been found to stimulate your body to produce its own natural supply of collagen.  This will help to speed up the healing process since the healing and repair is taking place from the inside.  Your skin will become firmer and smoother since the fibers will be held together tightly due to the increased production of collagen.

Knowing that your skin changes with age is one thing, however it is important to know what to do to keep the changes to a minimum and help your skin remain younger looking regardless of your age.
